1 dead in shooting on Indiana Avenue in Mishawaka


MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) – One person is dead after a shooting on Wednesday night in Mishawaka.

Officers were called just before 8:45 p.m. to the 200 block of N. Indiana Avenue on reports that a baby had been shot, but Mishawaka police say that turned out to be inaccurate.

However, police say they found a gunshot victim inside the home. They were pronounced at the scene.

We do not know the victim’s age or identity at this time.
