The Pennsylvania Farm Show begins Saturday, which means every foodies’ favorite day — food court preview day — is upon us.
The annual Friday tradition brings out hundreds looking for a taste of Farm Show staples: potato doughnuts, vanilla and chocolate milkshakes, deep- fried cheese cubes, mushroom burgers, and those looking try out some of this year’s new food offerings: loaded french fries, limited-edition mint milkshake, and pepper jack grilled cheese, among others.
The food court is one of the biggest attractions during the show, which runs Jan. 4-11 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg.
Vendors in the food court represent nearly all sectors of the state’s agriculture industry, from poultry and potatoes to vegetables and dairy.
The food court is open until 9 p.m.
