Missing, endangered Omaha man with dementia found safe


OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Nebraska State Patrol says that the endangered Omaha man previously reported as missing has been found.

William Anderson, 86, was reported missing at about 9 a.m. Friday by Omaha Police. An endangered missing advisory was later issued.

At about 11 a.m., NSP posted that Anderson was found safe.

Police say Anderson has dementia. He was reported as leaving his home Thursday evening.

The Nebraska State Patrol thanks all those who assisted in locating him.
