Falls Church teacher arrested for selling vape cartridges to students


A Falls Church High School teacher has been arrested for allegedly selling vape cartridges to students, according to Fairfax County Police.

Child Protective Services received a referral on October 24, following reports of students getting vape cartridges from a staff member at the school.

Detectives took over the investigation and determined that Kaitlyn Cresent, 28, of Alexandria, sold vape cartridges containing nicotine and THC to four students between December 2023 and June 2024.

Cresent was arrested on December 30 and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, distribution of a controlled substance on school property, and distribution of tobacco/hemp to a minor.

She has been placed on administrative leave and is no longer employed with Fairfax County Public Schools. Cresent is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on a $4,000 bond.
