Former LSU teammates Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr. support Jayden Daniels at Commanders-Bucs playoff game

It’s been a spectacular year for 2023 Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, who has guided the Washington Commanders to a playoff appearance as a rookie.

And it’s clear some bonds from Daniels’ college days still hold strong to this day.

How strong? Well, two of his former wideouts showed up to support him at Sunday night’s Wild Card round game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. were both spotted at Raymond James Stadium. Check it out below.

The trio was absolutely lethal at LSU during their stay there. And the success has carried over for all three at the professional level, starting with Jayden Daniels.

Daniels earned his way to the Pro Bowl as a rookie, while also earning a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

The rookie quarterback put up absurd numbers during his first season in the league. Jayden Daniels finished with a 69% completion percentage in the regular season, throwing for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns, against nine interceptions. He also ran for 891 yards and six scores.

Not to be outdone, Nabers and Thomas also had spectacular rookie seasons.

Nabers was also named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team after catching 109 passes for 1,,204 yards and seven touchdowns for the New York Giantts.

Thomas, meanwhile, was also named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team after snagging 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also ran six times for 48 yards.

A nice show of support for Jayden Daniels as he looks to extend his season in the postseason.
