McDonald’s brought back a very good deal to get us through the end of 2024: 10-piece Chicken McNuggets for just $1.
The nugget deal was first introduced during the “Season of Savings” in November and is back for a limited time. But don’t expect to walk up to a counter and claim it—you must redeem the deal through the McDonald’s rewards app. The $1 nuggets can be claimed once a week until December 30.
The Golden Arches also brought back an old favorite for the holiday season: the saucy McRib sandwich. The McRib features boneless pork slathered with tangy barbecue sauce and topped with onions and pickles. The burger chain even introduced half-gallon jugs of A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce onto the menu so you can slather it on your own barbecue at home.
McDonald’s has released a flurry of deals this season, like $5 meal deals and Free Fries Fridays, which are still in effect until the end of the year. As of September, 20 million free fries had been claimed. (Wendy’s also offers free fries on Fridays, so that’s clearly the day to hit the drive-through.)
Don’t worry, McDonald’s deals won’t dry up once the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve. A new McValue menu will launch on January 7, introducing a range of buy one, get-one-for-$1 options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And $5 meal deals will remain on the menu.
