New Jersey Could Be Getting a Big Snow Storm This Week

Stay informed about the upcoming snowstorm hitting New Jersey midweek. Meteorologist Dan Zarrow anticipates varying levels of snow accumulation across the state.

New Jersey Snow Forecast: Brace For Midweek Storm Bringing Snow. Yes there is more coming, depending on where you live in the Garden State. Remember that countdown to spring – 33 day!

January and February, I would say are the snowiest time for us to get snow in the Garden State. Sometimes, we get hit with a late storm in March.

When can we expect the snow here at the Jersey Shore?

92.7 WOBM’s Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says Wednesday – Thursday. Oh geez, when Dan says any accumulation 0 – 25 inches, oh boy. Let’s hope it’s more towards the 0. Although, this one is not looking to good.

Dan has several scenarios for us:

*We could get some snow here at the Jersey Shore. But, possibly nothing north and west.

*If the storm moves north, we could get more of an icy mix here at the Jersey Shore.

*Here’s the worst case scenario from Dan Zarrow: “The “worst case” scenario would be a perfect storm track, abundant cold air, and about 12 hours of heavy snow. A foot of accumulation for all! (Note: The latest European model is quite impressive, showing a big snow storm for all.)”

Hopefully within the next 48 hours, Dan will be able to be more clear and see more about this mid-week storm, again. Remember last week we had a Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday storm.

We will have Dan on Monday morning to spill the beans on all the snow coming our way. If you love snow, you might love this storm. If you’re like us and have to get out and get to work, all I can say is UGH! But, a lot of listeners tell me, you live in New Jersey. Yes, I expect it but hope for a whopping NO flakes in the winter.
